Popular actress Nina Dobrev is in awe after seeing Simone Biles on stage, jumping and flipping at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Biles stole the show in the Games with a mind-blowing comeback and won three gold medals in gymnastics events.

While speaking with People, Dobrev noted that it was her first time attending the Olympics and it was an amazing experience. The highlight of her trip was watching Biles in action at Bercy Arena.

She said there’s so much difference in watching the GOAT perform on TV versus in real life. Watching Biles also made her realize the difference between her and her rivals, and why she’s one of the most decorated gymnasts in history.

Vampire Diaries popular actress Nina Dobrev even labeled Simone Biles as, “the GOAT of all GOATs”. Although she couldn’t meet the Olympian in person, she was ecstatic to note how Biles later reposted her story on Instagram. She happily noted how her first Olympic experience “definitely did not disappoint.”

Simone Biles captures spotlight in Paris Olympics with successful “redemption” arc

After failing to compete in all events in 2021 Tokyo, Simone Biles, and Suni Lee called the Paris Olympics their “redemption tour”, and they successfully completed their journey in the Games. Following her mental breakdown and “twisties”, Biles returned to the Olympic stage with a mind-boggling performance, capturing three gold and one silver medal on the grand stage.

Her debut on the Olympic stage after the 2021 incident became one of the highlights of the Games. With fans and a celebrity-packed crowd, Biles led women’s gymnastics Team USA to gold. 

Other than her, Team USA’s notable performances by Jordan Chiles, Suni Lee, Jade Carey, and Hezly Rivera will be remembered by the fans. While many doubted and criticized Biles for quitting in-between Games in 2021, she took the 2024 stage to prove herself even better than before.
