Russia’s Daniil Medvedev comes into this tournament on the back of being crowned the Paris Masters 2020 Champion and will face his rival at that match, Alexander Zverev, in his first match at the ATP Finals in London. In last year’s edition of ATP Finals, the Russian bowed out at the group stages losing all 3 of his matches, which included a straight-set loss against Zverev. But he will surely look do better this time around.

Alexander Zverev, on the other hand, has won 27 and lost just 9 matches in 2020. He has had a good 2020 season as he won Bett1HULKS Indoors and Bett1HULKS Championship in Cologne, Germany. Both the men also met each other last year in the same tournament but Zverev won that one, beating the Russian in straight sets 6-4, 7-6(4).
