U.S Open 2020 champion, Dominic Thiem is all freshened up and looking to lay claim to his maiden Nitto ATP Finals title. Thiem qualified in last year’s final, but failed to win against Stefanos Tsitsipas. The Austrian has already made his breakthrough at the Majors this year. 

While this took an unprecedented toll on him physically, Thiem is back in action. He got his revenge over Tsitsipas when he defeated him 7-6(5), 4-6, 6-3. Further, he vanquished his nemesis on clay, Rafael Nadal in two thrilling sets which led to a tie-break. However, he failed to push Andrey Rublev off the court as he suffered a 2-6, 5-7 loss to him.
