Jon Jones will soon be making his heavyweight debut, sometime this year. He relinquished his light-heavyweight title last August, in a bid to experience better challenges. Ever since that, Jon Jones has been packing on the muscle, and has been sharing his transformation photos from time to time. As of now, he looks like he has completely transformed into a heavyweight, since his recent images suggest that he has sized up to 250 pounds.

More recently, Jon took to Twitter to warn other fighters, ahead of his heavyweight debut. The American is expected to take on the winner of the rematch between heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic and number one ranked heavyweight contender Francis Ngannou.

Jon seems very confident!

No matter where you’re from, I’m beating your ass this year“, Jon tweeted. Jon Jones is coming off a victory against Dominick Reyes, a match where he edged out Reyes via. unanimous decision. All three of Jon’s last victories have come via decision, but ‘Bones‘ is blessed with an immense fight IQ. He knows how to get the job done. He also has a very diverse kicking range; the only thing to be noted here is – how much of an impact the extra pounds will have on his speed?

Jon Jones’s debut would probably be against the heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic or against Francis Ngannou, as the two are expected to have their rematch soon. Despite the scary resume of both the fighters, Jon Jones can beat anyone on his day and that is exactly what he is suggesting.

Can Jon Jones strike gold in the heavyweight division as well?
