Recently, Noah Lyles broke his silence on the situation and clarified his stance. In a tweet on X, Lyles explained the reason for not attending the event. He denied the claims that he ever said Edwards didn’t deserve a signature shoe.

In fact, Lyles praised Edwards, calling him an amazing player. He further stated that his absence from the event was due to prior engagements and not being able to make time for it.
