“Nobody in top 10 wants to fight me” says UFC rising star Khamzat Chimaev
Khamzat Chimaev took the world by storm when he knocked out veteran Gerald Meerschaert in just 17 seconds of the very first round. Not just that, all it took was a punch to knock the veteran out.
It is safe to say that Khamzat Chimaev is on the “hype train”, that too with only 3 fights in the UFC. Currently undefeated with a professional record of 9-0-0, he becomes one of the fastest people to 3 wins (66 days). With his explosive power, both the welterweight and middleweight divisions must be shaking right now. UFC president Dana White had already booked “The Borz” even before his last fight against Meerschaert.
Nobody in top 10 wants to fight me says Chimaev
Today, Chimaev tweeted something very interesting yet destined after seeing his winning ways.
“We talk with Ufc nobody in top 10 not schedule want to fight with me Damianmaia I respect you I want to test myself and my Grappling against Legend like you”, tweeted Chimaev.
Chimaev claiming that no unscheduled top 10 wants to fight him is somewhat inevitable. This is a reasonable arguement considering how Chimaev has landed 195 significant strikes in his 3 fights with getting hit only twice. That is definitely some sort of a record. Demian Maia, who was already booked with Chimaev, even before his last fight, will be trying to get to winning ways. However, Khamzat has dominated the betting odds by being the -500 favorite.
