Logan Paul is still not able to come to terms with the fact that he will be taking on the great Floyd Mayweather. He is still awe-struck, star-struck, you name it! The fight has been scheduled for the 20th of February, next year.

Just like his brother Jake Paul, Logan Paul too is a YouTuber-cum-Boxer. His professional record stands 0-1, having lost to fellow YouTuber KSI, last year at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles. But, now here he is, about to face one of the greatest boxers of all time – Floyd Mayweather.

Speaking in an episode of BELOW THE BELT with Brendan Schaub, Logan Paul recollected how it all started. He said that he never thought that the fight would come to fruition.

‘This makes no sense, how is that even going to be a thing ever?’ – Logan Paul

A thrilled Logan Paul was quoted as saying, “Yeah hearing that out loud, is f****** weird…it makes no f****** sense. I think it is a perfect summation of what is 2020. Just a weird a** year. Nothing is making any sense. But we’re f****** here and we’re gonna do the best we can.

He went on, saying, “None of this is comprehensible. This makes no f**king sense. My manager, six months ago, comes up to me, he says ‘Logan would you fight Floyd Mayweather?’  I go, ‘I mean yes I would, but why are you asking me that question? Like go do something else, this makes no sense, how is that even going to be a thing ever?’”

Talking about how a fight of such an intensity came to fruition in such a quick time, Paul said, “I think a month later, he approached me with a contract. He said ‘If you sign here, you’re going to be fighting Floyd Mayweather.’ I said ‘Sure Jeff, I’ll sign your fantasy contract. Like f–k you, why would this ever happen?’ And I signed it, and then after just months and months of going back and forth and figuring out dates, we had three different dates, and how to announce it, and just like the strategy behind it. It finally came to fruition, and this event that supersedes everything I’ve ever done in my life, is finally solidified.”

Whose side are you on? The YouTubers’ army or the boxing purists? Can Logan Paul upset Floyd Mayweather?
