‘Nope, GSP never came up’ – Dana White reveals Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Georges St-Pierre will never happen!

UFC President Dana White has revealed that – there is no chance Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Georges St-Pierre will ever happen. Khabib and Dana, had their long awaited meeting, this Friday, regarding the Russian’s future in the UFC. Although, there was no decision taken about Khabib’s future, names of a significant number of fighters were discussed – regarding their ‘coming out of retirement’.

Speaking about this in the post-fight conference, the boss revealed that Khabib wasn’t interested in fighting GSP and also that his (GSP’s) name never came up. That surely signals the end of the ‘Khabib vs GSP’ saga! White also addressed meeting Khabib Nurmagomedov again in Vegas!

Dana White was quoted as saying, “Nope, GSP never came up. (Nurmagomedov) isn’t interested in that fight. From what I hear today, after that, neither is GSP. So, that’s over.” [via MMA Junkie]

He continued, “He’s cornering on Wednesday and then he leaves. He leaves and goes to Vegas. I’ll have the fight and fly home on Sunday, and I’ll see him again in Vegas. Those fights will have played out. He and I are going to hook up and go to dinner in Vegas and talk again. We’ll make a decision. There we have it. No more Khabib vs GSP talks! Only thing, left to see is ‘What Happens in VEGAS’?! Dana is confident that he would arrive at an answer in Vegas. Will Khabib Nurmagomedov come out of retirement?
