Norwich City becomes the first team get promoted for Premier League 2021/22

After a season, Norwich City are back into top-flight football after they got promoted on Friday as Swansea and Brentford failed to win their respective games. The Canaries will hope for a great season in the top-flight in 2021/22 as they were utter hopeless in the 2019/20 season. The team did create hype before the start of the season in 2019/20 but failed to keep the momentum going. For a while, Norwich City will hope to finish the season on high in the Sky Bet Championship.

Norwich City are due to face AFC Bournemouth in the Sky Bet Championship but Swansea and Brentford’s failure to register a victory in their respective games. Brentford were held to a stalemate whereas Swansea played out an entertaining 2-2 draw against Wycombe Wanderers. Norwich City are on top of the points table with a game in hand whereas Watford are chasing the table-toppers with 82 points in their kitty.

Norwich City had to go all the extent to feature again in the top-flight. Since their demotion/relegation to the Championship, they convinced the likes of Todd Cantwell, Emi Buendia and Max Aarons to stay with the team. These players were chased by the giants of the English Premier League. Also, they convinced Teemu Pukki to stick around with them. Also, their recruitment was up to the mark to get promoted soon after they were relegated.

There is still a place left for an automatic promotion which Swansea, Brentford and Watford are relentlessly changing. On the other hand, multiple stakeholders like Bournemouth, Barnsley, and Reading are chasing the play-off spots. It remains interesting to see which are the clubs apart from Norwich City will feature in the English Premier League 2021/22
