Premier League: Norwich City vs Chelsea Player Ratings as Chelsea get an easy yet hard earned 3-1 victory

Norwich City vs Chelsea: Norwich City squared off against Chelsea at the Carrow Road Stadium in Matchday 28 of the ongoing edition of the Premier League.

Two very early goals saw Chelsea take 2-0 lead in the 1st half. The 2nd half was filled with Norwich trying to push and pressure Chelsea and rightly so they won a penalty and also scored that. A very late goal from Kai Havertz saw Chelsea take a 3-1 lead and they finally won with that scoreline.

Tim Krul (5/10): He did not have a comfortable night and conceded 3 goals which he could have saved.

Grant Hanley (6.2/10): He made a few blocks and interceptions but was not very solid in the defence. He could have done better to stop the goals.

Ozan Kabak (6/10): Same as his partner he also could have done better to stop the goals. He also made a few blocks and stops

Christoph Zimmerman (5.4/10): He made few stops and clearances but could have done better to stop the goals from coming.

Brandon Williams (5.8/10): He made some good runs off the ball and tried to make things happen, but could not do much.

Max Aarons (6.3/10): He was active in making some interceptions and tried to support in attack but was ineffective most of the time.

Mathias Normann (5.4/10): He made some good passes and tried to combine well but Chelsea interceptions were far better.

Kenny McLean (6.2/10): He had a very ordinary performance making a few progressive passes but that’s all he could do.

Pierre Lees-Melou (6.2/10): He made a few interceptions and passes and tried to carry the ball, but could not do much.

Joshua Sargent (6.3/10): He tried to get involved in the game and also in the attack, but could not be decisive enough.

Teemu Pukki (6.5/10): He tried to do as much as he could to help in the attack making a few passes and a couple of shots at goal. He scored the penalty.

Thiago Silva (6.7/10): The veteran was solid in the defence and made some good blocks and interceptions.

Andreas Christensen (6.6/10): The Danish defender was solid in the backline tracking players and also making good blocks and stops.

Trevoh Chalobah (7.5/10): He was defensively proactive and made some good blocks, HE scored the 1st goal for Chelsea with a header. However, he conceded a penalty.

Jorginho (6.7/10): The Italian was as always very graceful on the ball and played some good passes and controlled the midfield.

Mateo Kovacic (6.8/10): The midfielder was able to make some excellent passes and tried to control the tempo of the game. He also made some shots at the goal.

Saúl Ñíguez (6.6/10): He was good on the ball and carried the ball well. He is also good at making a few interceptions and passes.

César Azpilicueta (6.8/10): He played for just 45 minutes but had some important effects in the game and made some good runs.

Kai Havertz (8/10): The German had a good game tonight assisting the 2nd goal for Chelsea and his movement both with and without the ball was excellent. He also scored a very late goal.

Timo Werner (6.6/10): He was not on the scoresheet but had an impactful game trying to get involved with the ball as well as without the ball.

Mason Mount (8/10): The best player for Chelsea in the game tonight scoring an absolute stunner and also assisting another goal.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek (5.5/10): He could do much after coming on as a sub but he did play a few good passes and made a few interceptions.
