Jake Paul MMA

Youtuber-cum-boxer Jake Paul has taken the combat sports world on another shock ride when he posted a video of himself throwing textbook perfect leg kicks. However, to no surprise, the department of striking professionals had to give a say about the technique and rightfully so, their experience gives them the right to that opinion. After his stint in the boxing world, Paul might want to direct his passion into mixed martial arts as well.

Paul last shook the world via his sixth-round knockout of former UFC Welterweight champion Tyron Woodley in a pro-boxing match. However, Paul also said after that bout that he might need a long vacation, after fighting four times in 13 months. This however didn’t age well, as Paul started batting for an offer right off the beginning of the new year after when he placed a bet to his business rival Dana White to allow himself to compete for MMA in the UFC and fight Jorge Masvidal since Paul’s haters are huge in numbers and they want to see him get beat.

Pros are impressed with Jake Paul’s leg kicks in recent MMA training footage

Now as he comes out with this footage of throwing leg kicks, Paul receives a wide amount of praise and sarcasm alike. The praise however comes from the professional fighters’ side. Here’s what Derek Brunson, Cris Cyborg, and even Bellator MMA’s official Twitter handle had to put out from their perspective. Brunson, who’s been trolling Jake Paul back and forth and has subtle in demanding for a boxing match with him, says, “Not bad son !”

What do you make of the fans and pros’ reaction to Jake Paul’s first time training in MMA? What do you think of his potential in this new arena of combat world for him? For he has shown his dedication to being an able student of boxing, we should perhaps leave it up to the benefit of the doubt on how Paul will turn out as a mixed-martial artist.
