Nottingham Forest vs Liverpool: Nottingham hosted Liverpool in the quarter finals of the FA Cup at the City Ground, Nottingham.

Liverpool shared a large percentage of possession in the first half. Nottingham defended well to keep the first half goal less. But Liverpool kept the pressure on and were rewarded with a goal late in the second half as Diogo Jota netted a cross from Tsimikas cross. The lone goal was enough for the visitors to go through to the semi-finals.

Ethan Horvath (6.9/10): Nottingham Forest goalkeeper horvath saved 5 shots but let in a late goal which decided the course of the match.

Djed Spence (6.5/10): Spence had a decent game on the right flank. He made good recovery tackles to in the ball.

Joe Worrall (8.3/10): Worrall had a tremendous game at the back. He successfully made 4 tackles with 100% accuracy.

Tobias Figueiredo (7/10): Figueiredo had a good game in defence. He was unlucky to not have a clean sheet at the end of the match.

Jack Colback (6.2/10): Colback was not impactful in the match. He could not provide good crosses or passes.

Ryan Yates (6.5/10): The defensive midfielder was alright and made a few tackles as well as interceptions in the middle.

James Garner (6.2/10): Garner could not impose himself in the game and was not at his usual best.

Joe Lolley (7/10): Lolley was fast on the wings and created a few problems for the Liverpool defenders.

Philip Zinckernagel (6.5/10): The Danish player missed couple of crucial chances to put Forest in front, but scuffed it. He was replaced in the second half.

Brenna Johnson (7.7/10): Johnson was brilliant on the wing. He was fouled the most times and also won the most duels in the match.

Keinan Davis (5.8/10): Davis did not have a single shot on target as a striker. He was subbed off in the second half.

Virgil van Dijk (7.2/10): van Dijk was solid at the back. His positioning was so good that he did not have to make any tackles to stop the attacks and dealt with it comfortably.

Konstantinos Tsimikas (8.4/10): Tsimikas had an exceptional match playing in Robertson’s position. He registered the only assist of the match as well.

Nabi Keita (6.5/10): Keita had a decent game before he was replaced in the midfield by Thiago in the second half.

Fabinho (7.4/10): Fabinho made the most dribbles in the match- 3. He was subbed off in the second half to make way for Henderson.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (6.3/10): Oxlade-Chamberlain had an average game as he could not create enough chances. He was subbed off in the second half.

Harvey Elliott (6.7/10): Elliott played in the front 3, unusual for him as a midfielder. He did okay in the position, but was replaced by Luis Diaz.

Roberto Firmino (6.9/10): Firmino had a couple of shots on target but could not find the back of the net.

Diogo Jota (8.2/10): Jota made the highlights as he scored the only goal of the match. He scored his 19th goal of the season, placing the ball in the goal from a beautiful Tsimikas cross.
