Novak Djokovic‘s biggest fan was watching him take on Rafael Nadal from the stands of the Philippe Chatrier at the Paris Olympics! Tara Djokovic, the daughter of the 24-time Grand Slam champion was cheering for her father by holding two small Serbian flags.

As expected, Djokovic did not face much competition from Nadal in the first set even though the match was played on clay, Nadal’s favorite surface. Djokovic first restricted Nadal to just one game in the first set, then quickly tried to finish it but the Spaniard was not a player one can take lightly even though he suffered a slump in form. In the second set, Nadal tried to change the momentum, and even played some ridiculous rallies but in the end, Djokovic emerged victorious 6-1, 6-4.

Novak Djokovic played violin for daughter Tara during Wimbledon

After his four-set win over Alexei Popyrin, Novak Djokovic produced a different celebration. He placed the racket on one of his shoulder and pretended to play the violin while looking at someone in the crowd.

The person for whom the 24-time Grand Slam champion mimicked playing the violin was Tara. At first, no one had any idea why Djokovic did it so, and thought it as one of his on-court antics. But later he explained that as his daughter was learning the instrument, they decided that he should celebrate all his wins in that way.

That was for Tara. My daughter has been playing violin for some time already, six months, and we agreed that I would celebrate that way.
Novak Djokovic said after the match

Djokovic, who later reached his first final of the season at the SW19, lost easily in straight sets to Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz who won his fourth Grand Slam title and his back-to-back win over Djokovic in Wimbledon final.
