Novak Djokovic has established himself as a legend of the game. With 24 singles Grand Slam titles and every other possible title in tennis to his name, Djokovic is arguably the best player the sport has ever seen. While there is no denying that he is a global icon, the Serbian’s stature in his country is sky-high, as WTA player Olga Danilovic explained.
Danilovichas claimed that having Djokovic on the tour was massive. She said that he takes care of every other player on the tour, especially those hailing from his homeland. The 23-year-old hailed Djokovic as a “true blessing.”
Having Novak represent our country in the best way possible and taking care of every player there is on tour, especially Serbians, is massive. He is always there for us and he always finds time for us. He is a very down-to-earth guy. Having him is such a blessing.

Danilovic talked about Djokovic’s achievements and claimed that it was tough to emulate what the 37-year-old has done in his career.
I’m not sure we are entirely conscious of the kind of person we have in our country, but we have to appreciate him so much. As tennis players, we understand how tough it is to achieve what he has done, so he is a true blessing

Djokovic has been pretty vocal about a wider distribution of prize money to players lower down the rankings. He has also led the formation of the Professional Tennis Players Association (PTPA which vows to assist players in any disputes they may have with the ATP and WTA Tours.

Olga Danilovic praised Novak Djokovic for his compassion towards fellow players and also declared him as the greatest player of all time. The youngster said that there was no doubt about it and stated that every Serbian was proud of what Djokovic has achieved in his career.
He is absolutely the greatest player of all time. Being Serbian and having his name as every record in No. 1, it’s something we are all so proud of. He is going to leave a crazy legacy behind of being the greatest athlete in the world. He has that Serbian mentality.

Djokovic, who has 24 Grand Slam titles to his name, most recently completed tennis as he clinched the gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Now, the Serbian has nothing left to win on the tour. But despite this, Djokovic continues to compete with and challenge the younger generation of tennis players.
