Novak Djokovic lashed out at a reporter after being continuously asked about his recent incident involving the Wimbledon crowd. The incident became a major talking point in the tennis world and the Serbian kept getting quizzed on it by reporters.

Djokovic was unhappy with fans during his win against Holger Rune. He felt their constant booing was unwarranted and even gave it back to them during the match. He also expressed his feelings after the match.

Despite clearly stating his stance in the post-match press conference, the questions keep on coming at him. When asked to comment on the same topic in an interview with BBC, and after answering one question, the reporter followed up with another, which angered Djokovic. As expected, the Serbian did not hold his frustration and let the reporter know.

Do you have any other questions other than the crowd? Are you focussed on only that or any questions about the match or something like that or is it solely focussed on that?

Novak Djokovic told the BBC reporter

Djokovic stormed out of the interview soon after, possibly causing another headline moment. On the sporting front, he will take on Alex de Minaur for a place in the final.

Novak Djokovic beats Holger Rune to mark his 60th Grand Slam quarterfinal appearance

World No. 2 Novak Djokovic continues to reach milestones despite not having the best of seasons by his lofty standards. He entered Wimbledon with no preparations and still made it to his 15th quarterfinals at the tournament.

With this, the Serbian has recorded 60 Grand Slam quarterfinal appearances —14 at the Australian Open, 18 at Roland Garros, 15 at SW19, and 13 at the US Open. He has also surpassed Jimmy Connors for the most number of Wimbledon’s last eight appearances and is only behind Roger Federer (18) now.

Despite all the drama, Djokovic has shown that he remains in the right mindset. After his win against Holger Rune, he put aside his frustrations with the crowd to celebrate the win by raising his racket, putting it up on his shoulders, and pretending to play the violin. He later explained that it was a dedication to his daughter.
