World No.1, Novak Djokovic returns to the Italian capital this week to play the Rome Masters after missing out on the recently concluded event in Madrid. The Serb took a brief break from tennis to spend time with his family, and even went on a spiritual visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The defending champion has already won the Rome Masters five times in his career and will open his 2021 campaign against either Dan Evans or Taylor Fritz.

The Serb has already reached the eternal city and has been spotted enjoying his time practicing, and even visiting various monuments and locations with his clan in Rome. Yesterday, Djokovic was captured spending time with his Italian, comedian-friend, Rosario Fiorello. The 20-time Grand Slam champion was even seen receiving some hilarious tips on the tennis court from Fiorello.

Back in early 2020, during the Italian Song Festival, the Serbian champion and the Italian showman also sang Terra Promessa, a famous song by the Italian singer Eros Ramazzotti.

The 34-year-old, Djokovic is also scheduled to practice with his great friend and former rival, Andy Murray at the Italian capital today. Despite the Serb’s recent slump in form on the clay, he remains one of the top favourites to win the yet another Masters title in Rome.
