Djokovic has won the most men’s major titles (24), the most Masters 1000 crowns (40), and the most Nitto ATP Finals title (7). He spent a record 428 weeks on top of the ATP rankings and finished as year-end No.1 eight times. However, he revealed that the best achievement of his career was a 43-match winning streak, which began on December 2010 and ended in June 2011.

That wasn’t my goal. I felt good because I had finished the previous season in the best possible way, winning the Davis Cup for Serbia. That gave me a lot of confidence for 2011. I started the season by winning the Australian Open and that started the streak. I kept winning and winning, and the more I won, the better I felt on the court.

The former World No.1 also said that his second standout achievement was winning four consecutive Grand Slam titles from 2015 to 2016. During that period the 37-year-old won all the majors once starting from the 2015 Wimbledon to the 2016 French Open.

The second achievement was when I won four consecutive Grand Slams in 2015–2016. I always dreamed of winning Wimbledon and becoming world number one. When I did that, I asked myself: what’s my next dream? At that time, I wanted to win as many Grand Slams as possible, including Roland Garros, which I had not yet won.

The third feat was defeating Roger Federer in the 2019 Wimbledon final. The final was very intense, probably the most intense match I have ever played. I could add the Australian Open final with Rafael Nadal in 2012.

At the Paris Olympics, Djokovic made history by becoming the oldest male player to win the singles gold medal. At his fifth Summer Games, the 24-time major champion defeated Carlos Alcaraz in straight sets. He also accomplished his Golden Slam (winning all four Grand Slam and Olympic gold). He admitted that it was his greatest sports achievement.

The long-awaited gold. I entered these Olympics without a trophy, I had an injury. Many questioned the quality of my tennis. Few people considered me a favourite, but I secretly believed. I felt the support of the people. If there was ever a moment, it was now. Without false modesty, this is my greatest sports achievement, and I proudly carry this gold for Serbia.
