Several ATP and WTA stars, including Carlos Alcaraz and Aryna Sabalenka, have complained about the hectic schedule this season. That has also forced Novak Djokovic to select tournaments to compete in. The World No. 4 has competed in fewer tournaments than any player in the Top 10.

Recently, Iga Swiatek hailed the Serbian’s strategy of competing in the major tournaments and skipping the rest. The Polish star has criticized the tennis schedule but has revealed she will learn from the Serbian.

You can see the most experienced players on tour, they are a bit older, skipping some tournaments, but actually being able to play their best games on Grand Slams, the biggest events that they really care about. I think like Novak, for example, is a great example of that. We can learn from people like that.
