Novak Djokovic, 17 time Grandslam champion wished everyone a Merry Christmas by posting a wonderful fan-made illustration on Twitter. The Serbian last played at the Nitto ATP Finals, where he lost in the semifinals to Dominic Thiem in a classic three set match.

Novak Djokovic asked his fans to tag the artist who made this wonderful illustration. The artist was the owner of the Instagram page, go_novak which is a Novak Djokovic Fan Page.

Fans were excited with Djokovic’s gesture and wished him the same in the comments section. One of them stated that the Serbian was the best, while the other hoped that the Serbian would enjoy the holidays with his family.

Novak Djokovic will travel to Melbourne for the Australian Open 2021, which is set to commence from February 8. Originally slated to begin from January 18, the Grandslam was delayed after a few scheduling issues owing to the covid-19 pandemic. The Serbian will aim for his ninth Australian Open title this time around. Last year, he defeated Dominic Thiem in the final to lift his eight title in Melbourne.

Novak Djokovic enters the Australian Open as the favourite, having won it on the previous two occasions in 2019 and 2020. The Serbian will play the ATP Cup, a team event just a week before the Australian Open commences. His hitting partner during the first week of quarantine is reportedly his fellow Serbian compatriot, Filip Krajinovic.
