- Oba Femi's powerbomb of Brock Lesnar on Raw has gone viral, amassing over 9.1 million views on Instagram.
- The segment is the most-watched from this week's Raw, significantly outpacing other clips.
- Femi is set to face Lesnar in a singles match at WrestleMania 42, marking his debut at the event.
Oba Femi had a career-defining moment on this week’s Raw when he lifted Brock Lesnar up on his shoulders and slammed him down to the mat. ‘The Ruler’ arrived, looked ‘The Beast’ dead in his eyes, made light work of the 10-time world champion, and left. Even Michael Cole couldn’t remember the last time when someone had decimated Lesnar like that. The fans have been watching that segment on loop, and it’s telling.
The Instagram reel of Femi powerbombing Lesnar has amassed 9.1 million views as of writing. It’s by far the most-watched video uploaded on the said platform by WWE from this week’s Raw. And without much of a surprise, the second-most watched reel from the show pertains to Oba Femi making his way out shortly after Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins had a brief face-off.

This is the highest viewed segment from RAW by at least 5 million views.

It’s nearing 6 million views, having already clocked 5.7 million. WWE has also uploaded the live reactions of both Michael Cole and Corey Graves to The Ruler’s manhandling of ‘The Beast Incarnate’. Cole even cursed in excitement, something that he rarely does. Even this clip has raked up over 2.7 million views and counting. These numbers are just over a day removed and are only going to grow manifold with time.
The Nigerian wrestler also took to Instagram and posted a trifecta of pictures in which he downed the former UFC Heavyweight Champion. Femi’s caption read, “The Point to the Mania sign hasn’t meant this much in a long time.” Femi put his right foot on Lesnar’s chest after the latter subtly told the 27-year-old to do so. It has led to fans assuming that ‘The Conqueror’ is on board for putting Femi over.
They’re all set to meet in a singles match at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas. It’s going to be Lesnar’s first WrestleMania match since 2023, and his opponent, Femi, is merely making his debut at the ‘Grandest Stage of Them All’. It’s going to be a make-or-break night for the former NXT Champion.
‘The Ruler’ could upset one of the all-time greats in Lesnar to stamp his authority in front of the world. Femi has yet to avenge his Royal Rumble match elimination at the hands of Lesnar. And what better way to get his lick back on the 48-year-old than beating him one-on-one?
Seth Rollins sides with Oba Femi to troll Paul Heyman over Brock Lesnar beatdown on Raw
One of the most underrated aspects about Oba Femi strutting his way out and eventually tanking Brock Lesnar on Raw was Seth Rollins. He kicked off the show with his masked men swarming the ring and Rollins declaring that he’ll kill the Vision. ‘The Architect’ segued into trashing Paul Heyman for betraying the 6-time world champion. A shabby-looking Heyman had brought Lesnar to take care of Rollins.

‘The Beast Incarnate’ first wiped out a dozen of those hooded masked figures before coming face-to-face with ‘The Visionary’ in the ring. It seemed like Lesnar and Rollins were going to be the WrestleMania match before the lights went out and Femi’s music hit. The former Shield member stepped aside for ‘The Bringer of War’ to let the latter square off with Lesnar on his terms.
Rollins wisely rolled out of the ring and watched the chaos unfold from in front of the commentary desk with a huge smile on his face. ‘The Drip God’ is firmly behind the Oba Femi hype train, and he has also trolled Paul Heyman in the process. Rollins posted a selfie with Femi’s portrait, in which the Lagos-born wrestler was holding the NXT North American title.

The former leader of the Vision wrote “FAFO” and tagged Heyman as well. With Lesnar now occupied with Femi, it remains a mystery who’ll oppose Rollins at WrestleMania. There have been whispers of Bron Breakker getting the medical clearance in time to compete against ‘The Architect’ in Vegas. It remains to be seen if it happens.
