Serena Williams misses tennis badly. She retired in 2023 and after that, she got obsessed with managing her weight. In a recent interview, Williams revealed what she has planned to do next where she can compete.
Williams, the 23-time Grand Slam singles champion, is a mom of two daughters Olympia (7) and Adira River (15 months old). Post-retirement, she has been busy running her businesses, including the venture capital fund Serena Ventures. Since she’s not losing a lot of calories like before, she is planning to compete in another sport.
In that same interview, Williams said that if she was a man, she wouldn’t have to make certain choices, implying that she probably had to leave tennis to focus on family. But Williams also joked that she wants to be the ‘GOAT’ at being a mom, which is why she was happy about choosing the family.
My life is very different now. Instead of chasing balls, I’m chasing #Adira and helping #Olympia with tennis lessons and cooking. (And, all this is in-between Venture Capital calls) pic.twitter.com/lVdI7Ps6tN

Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian reveals he’s better than her at three things
Serena Williams has nothing to prove to anyone about her career. But there are three areas where she has not achieved excellence, joked her husband, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. Ohanian said he paints better than Williams because he spends a lot of time sketching with Olympia.
The competitor in Williams wants to beat Ohanian in cooking skills but the latter claims he’s a better cook. He said that though Williams is a better baker when it comes to smoking and grilling, he is the champion. The third thing Ohanian excels at is gaming because in the game of ‘H.O.R.S.E,’ Williams’ ‘jump shot is terrible’.
