It appears that the NFL star wide receiver has picked his side in the ongoing feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, which has kept the entire rap industry tuned for the past several weeks. Well, it’s definitely not a surprise that Odell Beckham Jr. is supporting Drake, given their friendship being quite well-known.
The rapping feud which has been going on for weeks hit an iceberg one weekend, when “Family Matters,” “Meet The Grahams,” and “Not Like Us” were released subsequently with each other. Many considered it the defeat of Drake but having his best friend dancing on his diss track seemed to have made things more interesting.
Beckham Jr., who recently joined the Miami Dolphins, shared a video of himself dancing in his car on the track of “Family Matters” which is Drake’s diss track against Lamar. The NFL wide receiver shared the video to show support for his best friend, with whom he shares most of his life off-field.
With this video, Beckham Jr. indirectly said that his best friend hasn’t yet lost the battle and might drop a solid comeback in the coming future. The receiver was truly enjoying himself as he sang the lyrics and danced to the amazing beats.
Odell Beckham Jr. and Drake’s longstanding bond
The Dolphins’ new receiver and rapper Drake have been friends for a long time and are quite close to each other, to the point where they even have stayed at each other’s house. Beckham once even revealed during a podcast that he was at the Toronto star’s Hidden Hills home.

Beckham has also appeared in some of the music videos by Drake. For the receiver’s football world, he is aiming to make more impact in the upcoming 2024 season, which is his first season with the Dolphins.
He recently joined the dynamic and young receiving corps of the Dolphins after bidding farewell to the Baltimore Ravens after one year. Ever since he suffered a torn ACL injury in 2022, he hasn’t been able to retrieve his old form. But with the new offense featuring star players such as Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, he is hoping for a comeback.
