Klimkait’s first big win was at the Cadet World Championship. By winning, she became the first Canadian Judoka to win a world championship under 18. Then, at the Pan American Judo Championships in 2017, Klimkait won the gold medal (Panama City). A year later she settled for Bronze in the tournament that took place at San Jose.

At the Judo world masters held in 2021, in Doha, Qatar she won a bronze medal. A couple of months later, she won the silver medal at Judo Grand Slam, which took place in Antalya.

Her biggest achievement was at the 2021 World Championships at Budapest, where she won the gold medal, thereby cementing her position as the number one ranked women’s judoka (-57kg category).
