10. Biles made her professional gymnastics debut in 2011

Despite commencing her elite gymnastics journey in 2011, Biles fell short of joining the US junior national team as she placed 14th in the all-around category during the US Championships in St. Paul, Minnesota. Biles commenced her professional career at the age of 14 on July 1, 2011, participating in the 2011 American Classic in Houston.

She secured a third-place finish overall, dominating the vault and balance beam events with a first-place finish, achieving fourth place in floor exercise, and coming in eighth place in uneven bars. Biles took part in a contest known as the 2011 US Classic, which was held in Chicago, Illinois. In the general ranking, she finished in the 20th position, while on the balance beam and floor exercise, she secured the fifth place.

9. Biles becomes the first female athlete to capture seven US women’s all-around championships

Biles achieved a groundbreaking feat last month, unlike anything ever accomplished before. Becoming the inaugural female to achieve such a feat, she clinched her seventh consecutive championship in the US senior women’s all-around competition, setting a remarkable record.

Simone conveyed a strong emotional response, particularly due to it being her second time partaking in the Olympics after achieving victory. “It’s truly impressive, and I want to express my appreciation to everyone who came to watch and support us, especially considering the difficult year we’ve been through.”

8. On the vault, Biles does the Yurchenko double pike

Biles stayed motivated despite the challenges brought by COVID-19 and the postponed 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Successfully executing the Yurchenko double pike, Biles returned to competition in May 2021 after abstaining for over a year. She became the pioneer female to achieve this feat. In May, Biles engaged in a contest that took place within the United States.

This is old-fashioned. Claiming another US Classic all-around title, she made history by successfully executing a Yurchenko double pike vault, a feat no female gymnast had accomplished before. In terms of women’s gymnastics, the newly constructed vault received a rating of 6.6, marking it as the most valuable vault.

Biles has gained special names for her amazing abilities. She demonstrated her expertise in gymnastics by performing the triple-twisting double backflip with precision in 2019. During the qualifying round for the 2019 Worlds competition, the gymnastics routine known as “The Biles II” was executed. Biles achieved an unprecedented milestone in August 2019 when she became the inaugural female gymnast to flawlessly execute a “triple-double” at the USA Gymnastics Championships. The challenging maneuver required performing consecutive backflips followed by three twists. The “Biles II” later acquired its name for this particular maneuver. During that event, she achieved the feat of being the first person to ever execute and stick a double-double dismount on the balance beam. 

5. Biles becomes the gymnast in the World Championships’ history

Biles’ outstanding performance at the 2019 World Championships has catapulted her to unparalleled heights, clinching an astounding 25 medals and cementing her status as the greatest gymnast of all time. The previous record, which had been held by Vitaly Scherbo since 1996, was surpassed by her as she achieved 24 medals.

By performing a routine on the balance beam, she secured her 24th medal. Following her floor routine, she achieved a new personal best, surpassing her record. Indeed, she accomplished the task.

4. At the 2018 US National Championships, Biles creates history
