It is a known fact that Simone Biles is someone that Kelly Clarkson truly admires. Last Saturday, the 41-year-old singer, who also hosts The Kelly Clarkson Show, took to Instagram to express her admiration for the Olympic gymnast. “My happiness would increase if I possessed the ability to execute a cartwheel with the same proficiency as Simone Biles,” she said.
Clarkson penned a caption to accompany a photograph depicting Biles. The latter can be seen shedding tears while proudly displaying a medal in the photograph. A few weeks ago in Antwerp, Belgium, Biles achieved victory by earning the gold medal in the women’s all-around event at the World Gymnastics Championships.
“She is magnificent!! My gosh, I am fortunate to be able to see her,” she said. The message of “Since U Been Gone” was concluded by the singer. Simone Biles and Jordan Chiles, both gymnasts on the Gold Over America Tour, participated in a video call on The Kelly Clarkson Show in 2021.
Moreover, Simone Biles revealed that while she was a guest, the athletes on the tour enjoyed warming up to Clarkson’s song “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You).” Afterward, the vocalist showcased a video to the crowd. The video depicted the Gold Over America Tour group joyfully dancing on stage. Their attire consisted of pink exercise apparel along with black zip-up sweaters.
Simone Biles proved her legacy yet again
Expressing her satisfaction, Biles posted on Instagram about the honor of having the fifth gymnastics move named after her. In her post, the Olympic gymnast expressed that Antwerp would forever hold a significant place in her heart. Included in the collection of photos were various shots of her participating in competitions and being awarded medals, including the picture that Clarkson posted.

She mentioned that initially she had a skill named after her in this arena, and a decade later, she obtained her fifth skill named in her honor. “I’m speechless. I’m honored. I’m excited and I’m blessed! Doing it for the little girl who fell in love with the sport!!!!!” added Biles. Before concluding, she made sure to express her gratitude for the love and support that was offered.
Following her impressive execution of the highly complex gymnastics move commonly referred to as the Yurchenko double pike, the National Governing Board of Gymnastics declared their intention to designate it “Biles II.” It was a mark of commendation for her achievements. The reason for this is that she already has four additional moves that bear her name.
Clarkson and Biles have both experienced the limelight and confronted obstacles with resilience and tenacity. Success has been demonstrated to extend beyond merely achieving medals or being ranked first, encompassing the ability to remain authentic and inspire others along the way.
Biles and Clarkson’s authenticity and strength never fail to captivate, whether they are engaged in gymnastics or appearing on late-night television shows. Demonstrating to all, they prove that bravery and determination are the keys to accomplishing remarkable feats.
