Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush opened his account for the club with a match-winning hat-trick in a 4-0 victory for the Cityzens over Newcastle United. The Egyptian forward put his name on the score-sheet, after enduring a four-match goal-scoring drought.
Omar Marmoush has been Manchester City’s star winter arrival, as he joined from Bundesliga giants Eintracht Frankfurt on a transfer deal worth €75 million. The 26-year-old forward boasts staggering numbers, having scored 20 goals and provided 13 assists in just 26 appearances for Frankfurt this season. His brilliant goal-scoring instincts drove City to sign him in the middle of the ongoing season.
Moreover, the Egyptian forward was also brought in by Pep Guardiola‘s side to help overturn their poor slump. The defending EPL champions went through a turbulent phase last year, winning just two games in the months of November and December. Marmoush has now announced his arrival in style, scoring his first goals for Man City, helping the club move to the 4th position on the EPL table.

Five minutes later, the Egyptian forward struck again, thanks to Ilkay Gundogan‘s brilliant assist. Completing his first career hat-trick, Marmoush scored his third with a side-footed shot off Savinho‘s cross.
