‘On some real (weird) shit, wish I could fight Nate Diaz for Christmas’ – Mike Perry calls out Nate Diaz
“Platinum” Mike Perry has expressed his desire to fight “West Coast Gangster” Nate Diaz for Christmas. He is not the first one calling out the man with the “Stockton Slap”, as there have been a lot of fighters, including YouTuber Jake Paul who have called out Nate Diaz.
Mike Perry, was recently in the news for all the bad reasons, after turning up late to the weigh-ins for his match against Tim Means and missing his weight by a huge margin. He went on to lose the fight (catchweight bout) via. unanimous decision. Many even feared that the welterweight might be cut-off from the UFC, as a truckload of fighters have been released recently.
More recently, Mike Perry took to Twitter to call out Nate Diaz, asking him to take up his offer for a Christmas-bout. It is to be noted that the UFC’s calendar for 2020 ends on the 19th of December; they don’t have any other events planned for the year.
Will the fight happen?
Mike Perry tweeted, “On some real (weird) shit, wish I could fight @NateDiaz209 for Christmas.” The last time Nate Diaz fought was against Jorge Masvidal, way back in November 2019, which he eventually lost. Mike Perry, the entertainer, on the other hand – you never know, when the hard-as-nails fighter is serious, but he sure does keep his fans entertained with tweets like these.
