Mustafa Ali was revealed to be the leader of Retribution in October. It was during a match against The Hurt Business, it was revealed that Ali had formed the group. Since then the group has been involved in a feud with The Hurt Business.

Retribution had started as a secret group that was destroying WWE properties and attacking the WWE wrestlers. Later, it was revealed that the group consisted of all those wrestlers who had been wronged by WWE. The Hurt Business, led by MVP, took it upon themselves to fight against Retribution.

Ironically, Retribution was being depicted as the deadly group. But they are yet to register their first win as individual members as well as a team. The group had even tried to attack The Fiend Bray Wyatt and Alexa Bliss during the Raw season premiere. Their attempt failed as The Fiend took out the whole group single-handedly.

Ali’s message ahead of WWE Raw

Retribution are yet to find the acceptance from the WWE Universe. Their no success in-ring record has a major role to play in that. Fans are not seeing the group as anything but a group that has been interrupting and attacking.

The leader of Retribution, Mustafa Ali, took to Twitter to announce that he will be turning the ship around. He tweeted that the people should continue with having no trust in them. That is what makes them who they are.

His tweet clearly indicates that something big has been planned for Retribution. Now whether it is something that can get the fans behind them or just another failed gimmick, will be seen on the upcoming episode of Raw.
