UFC commentator Joe Rogan has served the UFC for a really long time. Rogan joined the organization back in 1997 i.e. just four years after the UFC was introduced. Ever since then, Rogan has been a loyal servant to the promotion. However, ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong has recently made an offer for Rogan to commentate on the promotion, which hosts one of the best Muay Thai fights.

In a clip online, Sityodtong invites Rogan to his prestigious promotion. Sityodtong said, “Yeah well, Joe, you and I know each other. Come on anytime man. If you want to commentate in the number one league by far in Muay Thai, absolute killers and monsters which you know already Joe, give me a call.

ONE as an organization, hosts multiple combat competitions including MMA, Muay Thai, kickboxing, and grappling. The promotion has always sided with striking sports like Muay Thai and Kickboxing, as they aim to promote the game in Asian countries. Many events of Muay Thai and Kickboxing from 2023 are mostly placed in locations like Bangkok. Currently, ONE’s home base lies in the country of Singapore.

However, Sityodtong’s invitation to Rogan will not go unnoticed. On many occasions, Rogan has shown his affection towards Muay Thai and has also claimed it to be one of the hardest sports in the world. Rogan’s recent mention of ONE came during the super fight between Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Superlek Kiatmookao.

Joe Rogan holds Muay Thai over MMA as the hardest sport in the world

UFC commentator and podcaster Joe Rogan has shown his interest in Muay Thai on multiple occasions. In his recent podcast episode with Eddie Bravo, Rogan spoke about how Muay Thai holds an amazing amount of ‘untapped potential’.

Rogan in the clip, was emphasizing the recent Muay Thai super fight between Rodtang and Superlek held in Thailand. This fight was titled a super fight because of the stardom of the fighters present in the ring. Both Rodtang and Superlek are two of the biggest names in the sport of Muay Thai. However, this matchup lived up to the hype as a huge crowd turned up for the fight. This mega-fight caught Rogan’s attention, who is just one of the known connoisseurs of the fight game.

In the interview, Rogan also showed his fascination with ONE Championship‘s decision to let the Muay Thai fight happen in four-ounce gloves. On numerous occasions, Rogan has claimed Muay Thai as one of the hardest sports in combat space.
