The two-sport king survived early trouble to earn a third-round TKO at ONE Fight Night 19 in Bangkok.

The bad blood between the fighters produced an instant classic. Lobo scored a knockdown late in round one with big punches. He battered Jonathan Haggerty with shots against the ropes. But the champion roared back in round two as he floored Lobo with a straight left. The challenger showed heart and rose up to re-engage. Lobo nearly dropped Haggerty again late in the round.

The win comes three months after he claimed the ONE bantamweight kickboxing belt as well against Fabricio Andrade. The emphatic TKO sealed Haggerty’s 22nd career win.

Haggerty cemented his status as one of the world’s best strikers with his sixth straight victory. He also earned another $50,000 performance bonus for the highlight-reel finish. Haggerty continues to make history as a two-division king. He had recently shown interest in trying his luck to become the three-division champion.
