Hell in a Cell, is one of the most iconic pay-per-view for WWE. Its 12th edition will be airing live on 25th October, from WWE’s Thunderdome.

The steel caged has witnessed some really iconic WWE matches. But one that clearly stands out is 1998’s Mick Foley vs The Undertaker. If there is a single match that can clearly define Hell in a Cell, it is this match.

The sheer brutality of that match, defined that inside that cell, it is hell indeed. Mick Foley, as The Mankind, falling from the top of steel caged structure, is one of the highlight moments of WWE history.

Mick Foley, is one of the greatest legends for WWE. He has had a really iconic career, but even he agrees that his Hell in a Cell match is what define his career in the best way possible. Foley recently appeared on ViBe and Wrestling where he discussed the possibility of any present wrestlers recreating a Hell in a Cell moment that is as iconic as his.

While on the show, Foley acknowledged the fact that every wrestler that steps in the cage with the same mindset. That is to try to create memories for the fans that stay with them for long. He even agreed to the fact, that there may be numerous matches that are better than his and Taker’s match, in terms of wrestling. But none of them would be as iconic.

This time, there are 3 matches scheduled to be held inside the Cell, all of them for Championships. Two of these matches have wrestlers entering the caged structure for the first time in their careers. Drew McIntyre and Bayley, both making their debut inside the Cell, are defending Championships against Orton and Banks, respectively. The other match inside the cell is an “I Quit” match between Roman Reigns and Jey Uso for the Universal Championship.
