Pacman Jones claims to have inside information suggesting the Maxx Crosby trade saga isn’t over yet. According to Jones’s sources, Crosby could join the Cincinnati Bengals.
Jones played eight seasons in Cincinnati and still maintains some connections within the Bengals organization. One of them reportedly told the retired cornerback that the Bengals could be the team Crosby ends up with when it’s all said and done.
I got really good sources; Maxx Crosby might be in a Bengals uniform.

Crosby was close to signing with the Baltimore Ravens after news broke that the AFC North team had agreed to a trade deal with the Raiders. The Raiders were promised two first-round draft picks (2026 and 2027). However, the Ravens backed out of the deal after seeing Crosby’s medical report.
In the span of two years, Crosby had undergone two surgeries. In 2024, he successfully underwent ankle surgery, cutting his season short to just 12 appearances. A year later, the Raiders benched him for the final two games of the season after he suffered a torn meniscus injury. He had the doctors operate on it in January.
Two months later, the Ravens outbid the Cowboys, Patriots, and Bears to secure his services. However, a panel of independent doctors who reviewed Crosby’s physical reports flagged long-term health concerns, prompting the Ravens to back out of the deal.
It sparked several theories, with one anonymous NFL GM calling the Ravens’ entire ordeal “buyer’s remorse,” according to Dianna Russini of The Athletic. General manager Eric DeCosta clarified the situation during a press conference on Wednesday.
At some point, you get to the point where, when you look at the situation, you have to make the right decision. It’s not always about the value. It’s just [about] what is the right decision for the club at the time, and that’s a hard thing to do. But as I said, when you’re a steward of the organization, and you’re put in that position, you have to make the tough call.

The Ravens fell back to the second-best edge rusher option in free agency. They signed DE Trey Hendrickson on a four-year, $112 million deal.
NFL insider sheds light on the Bengals’ interest in Maxx Crosby
The Raiders agreed to trade Crosby to the Ravens last Saturday, though a few other teams jumped in at the last minute. One of them was the Bengals.

In his mailbag, senior Sports Illustrated writer and NFL insider, Albert Breer, wrote that the Philadelphia Eagles checked in to see Crosby’s going price after the NFC side parted ways with Jaelan Phillips. The Bengals called shortly after.
The [Cincinnati] Bengals, on the verge of losing Trey Hendrickson in free agency, were another latecomer to the party. By then, over a quarter of the league’s 32 teams had shown some level of interest in Crosby, with a few others that he had less interest in going to throwing their hats in the ring as well.
Crosby returned to Vegas, and the Raiders welcomed him back with open arms. Breer also shared that the Raiders will honor all the contracts they’ve agreed to with various players over the past few days.

All options remain in play with Maxx Crosby. Vegas is certainly very open to keeping him.
Crosby played 15 games for the Raiders in 2025. He racked up 73 combined tackles, 10 sacks, 28 TFLs, and 6 pass deflections.
