The UFC lightweight division is arguably the most competitive in the organization. It has a mix of skillful veterans and talented young fighters. Recently, Paddy Pimblett set his sights on a high-profile opponent – Dustin Poirier. However, his callout has drawn mockery from Michael Chandler, who wasted no time ridiculing Pimblett’s bold challenge.
Dustin Poirier recently rejected Pimblett’s callout. The former interim champion said that for his last dance, he only wants to fight UFC legends. In retaliation, the Scouser accused DP of being scared, and even got the support of Nate Diaz while doing so. This prompted Chandler to make a sly jibe at Pimblett over his overeating habit.

Pimblett is infamous for his eating addiction. Despite fighting at lightweight, the British fighter balloons up to 200 lbs when not in the camp. Before each fight, Pimblett cuts a huge weight in order to make the limit. For this, he has received a variety of flak from fans as well as UFC experts.

Nevertheless, there were also rumors about Chandler fighting Pimblett, but the former Bellator champion rejected the idea. According to Chandler, he is more inclined to fight Arman Tsarukyan next. While ‘Baddy’ believes he is a big name, top lightweights don’t share the same opinion about him.
