Looks like a passenger got lucky sitting next to Taylor Swift’s father on a flight taking off from New Orleans. She also got an inner scoop from Papa Swift himself regarding his feelings towards his daughter’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
A TikTok video by Taylor Moore has gone viral on the internet, where she shared her experience sitting next to Scott Swift on a Southwest Airlines flight, describing him as “sweet.” Page Six identified that user as the plane passenger and she also shared a clip of her sitting next to Swift’s dad.
After Moore introduced herself to Scott, he candidly started talking about the 14-time Grammy winner’s current boyfriend, whom she has been dating since Summer of 2024; sharing only good things about the three-time Super Bowl champions and how much Papa Swift adores him.
I’m the girl that was sitting next to Papa Swift. He did also talk about how much he loves Travis for her, which was super cute. I did not ask anything about Travis. He did say out of all of her boyfriends in the last 12 years that Travis has made the biggest impact and that Travis has a phenomenal family.

Even before the families met, Scott was already familiar with Jason Kelce’s wife’s father, Ed McDevitt, and had a good understanding of the family (Kelce Family), Kylie McDevitt married into. Papa Swift truly loves his daughter and Kelce together, as he told Moore without her even needing to ask.
Scott Swift finds NFL companion in daughter Taylor Swift
Scott, who has always been a football fan, now has a companion in her daughter to enjoy the NFL game, ever since she started dating the Kansas City Chiefs star. In fact, the Chiefs head coach Andy Reid met the “Lover” singer for the first time because of her father, who took her to a Philadelphia Eagles practice when Reid was their head coach.
He was returning from Taylor’s Eras Tour concert in New Orleans when he met Moore and told her all about his daughter and how “proud he was of” her. The father-daughter duo has attended many of Kelce’s games together, cheering for him from the VIP booth.
In spite of rumors about their breakup, Taylor and Kelce are “in love” and don’t care what others think about them. Ignoring all surrounding chatters, they consistently show up for one another and are speculated to be prepared for the next chapter of their life.
