Northeast United FC annunced its association with Parimatch News as the main sponsor for the upcoming Hero ISL Season 7. Parimatch News is a sports, E-sports and entertainment outlet for sports enthusiasts. The Cyprus based company seeks to deliver high-quality sports coverage and cutting edge sports analysis.
Japneet Singh Sethi, Marketing Lead of India, Parimatch News said, “I’m chuffed to bits, to say the least. The Northeast is a region that is obsessed with football to the extent that people over there worship the sport, just like we at Parimatch News do. This association between NorthEast United Football Club and Parimatch News is therefore quite fitting.”
“We are delighted to have Parimatch News with us as our main sponsor. They are a vibrant brand whose mission and vision are aligned with ours, and we are confident that that this will be a successful partnership,” said Priya Runchal, Executive Director, NEUFC.
Northeast United FC begins their campaign of this season today, 21 November 2020. They play Mumbai City FC at 7:30 PM.
The Guwahati based club will look to start their season on the positive note against one of the strong contenders in the league. With the Spanish manager Gerard Nus on board, the Highlanders will look to finish better this season as compared to a ninth position in the previous season.
The club was formed in 2014. Actor John Abraham and Shillong Lajong Football Club won the bidding for the franchise. The unofficial supporters club of NEUFC is called the “Highlander Brigade”.
