First Quarter
World No. 1 Iga Swiatek has been put in the first quarter with Danielle Collins, Jelena Ostapenko, and Diana Shnaider as the other seeded players. The Polish ace opens her campaign at the Games against Romanian Irina-Cameila Begu. The four-time French Open champion is then expected to meet Diane Parry in the second round.

In the third round, Swiatek might face Diana Shnaider or Linda Noskova. Meanwhile, in the quarterfinals, Swiatek can meet one of Collins, Ostapenko, Dayana Yastremska, or Caroline Wozniacki. The second half of the first quarter is packed with top-class players. While 10th seed Ostapenko will be a firm favorite to reach the quarterfinal, she will face tough challenge in every round.
Quarterfinals prediction: Iga Swiatek vs. Jelena Ostapenko
Second Quarter
Third seed Elena Rybakina has been drawn in the second quarter with Leylah Fernandez, Emma Navarro, and Qinwen Zheng. The Kazakh tennis ace will open her campaign against Romanian Jaqueline Adina Cristian while the World No. 4 can meet one of Naomi Osaka or Angelique Kerber in the second round.

The biggest first-round clash in the second quarter will be between two mothers on the tour, Osaka and Kerber. Both players have been among the top players on the tour but have been pulled back by break due to pregnancy. Nevertheless, considering the stage where they will be playing, a thrilling match is expected.
Another thrilling match can be the potential second-round clash between Emma Navarro and Fernandez. Meanwhile, sixth seed Qinwen Zheng has also been pitted against a tough opponent in Caroline Garcia in the first round. While Rybakina seems like a favorite to qualify for the quarterfinal, the fight for the second spot will be one to watch out for.
Quarterfinals Prediction: Elena Rybakina vs. Emma Navarro
Third Quarter
Jessica Pegula is the highest seed in the third quarter. Meanwhile, reigning Wimbledon champion Barbora Krejcikova, Beatriz Haddad Maia, and Jasmine Paolini are the other seeded players. While Pegula plays Viktorija Golubic in the first round, Krejcikova will face Sara Sorribes Tormo in the opening round. The Czech Republican is expected to meet either Pegula or Elina Svitolina in the third round.

The second half also has some moth-watering contests lined up for the second round with Katie Boulter expected to meet Haddad Maia and Mirra Andreeva expected to face Paolini. The winner of the two matches will face each other to book a spot in the quarterfinal, most probably against Krejcikova.
Quarterfinals Prediction: Barbora Krejcikova vs. Jasmine Paolini
Fourth Quarter
The fourth quarter is also jam-packed with Maria Sakkari, Marta Kostyuk, Donna Vekic and Coco Gauff as the seeded players. All these players are expected to make it to the second round. From the first half, Sakkari and Kostyuk will be fighting against each other in the third round for the quarterfinal spot.

Meanwhile, the second half has a clear favorite in Gauff who has enjoyed a dominant run on clay. The American ace made it to the semifinal of the 2024 Roland Garros and is expected to easily reach the quarterfinals.
Quarterfinals Prediction: Coco Gauff vs. Maria Sakkari
Semifinal
Iga Swiatek, being the four-time French Open champion is certain to make it to the semifinals from the first quarter. Meanwhile, the Polish ace might meet Elena Rybakina in the semifinal. It is expected to be a hard-fought contest but Swiatek will still be the favorite considering her impressive record on clay (95% win percentage).

The second semifinal is expected to be played between Gauff and Paolini. While Gauff is a clear favorite over Sakkari in the fourth quarterfinal, Paolini might just pip Krejcikova in what will be a revenge for the Wimbledon final defeat. The Italian was in the final of Roland Garros and hence is expected to meet Gauff in the semifinal.
