Former tennis player from Australia, Pat Cash, lauded Carlos Alcaraz and compared him to Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. Cash said he has never seen a player like Alcaraz who has taken the best from Federer and Nadal and combined them in his game.
Federer retired in 2022 after clinching 20 Grand Slam trophies, while Nadal, with 22 Grand Slam titles, will hang up his racket after the Davis Cup, scheduled in November. Alcaraz, at 21, has already bagged four Grand Slam trophies and the only major title he is yet to win is the Australian Open. His records on grass are also impressive, as he has a 24-3 record on the surface.
Novak Djokovic was the player who was defeated in the Wimbledon final by Alcaraz this season. Although the Spaniard faced a tough challenge from the Serb in last year’s Wimbledon final, it wasn’t the case this year.
In straight sets, Alcaraz defeated Djokovic to lift his third Grand Slam trophy. Cash, who lifted the Wimbledon in 1987 and was a two-time finalist at the Australian Open, has called Alcaraz the best player on grass.
We're still dreaming! ???

Carlos Alcaraz reveals who is the best player right now
Carlos Alcaraz is in Riyadh and he’s gearing up for the Six Kings Slam final where he is set to lock horns with Jannik Sinner. Ahead of the final, Alcaraz said the 23-year-old is the best player in the world at this moment as he has won seven titles, which includes the Australian Open and the US Open.
If Alcaraz wins the exhibition event, it will be his fifth title of the season after the Indian Wells, French Open, Wimbledon, and China Open. He also has a silver medal he won at the Paris Olympics after defeat to Novak Djokovic.
