Tennis Great Pat Cash condemned for promoting Plandemic conspiracy movie

One of the greats of tennis, Australian Pat Cash has been criticised on social media after sharing a link to a movie about a COVID conspiracy theory.The 1987 Wimbledon champion shared the link on Twitter. “It’s finally out,” wrote Cash on the post alongwith the link to the movie Plandemic: Indoctrination, which provides a false theory about the origin of coronavirus.

The film alleges that the virus strain originated by leading American infectious disease expert Anthony Fauci. It also makes shocking claims that masks are harmful and will activate the virus. The promotion of the film by Pat Cash has drawn a lot of flak towards him.
Interestingly, Cash tweeted another post, comparing the damage wrought in the US by COVID-19 to lives lost to smoking. That also came as a nightmare for Pat as many netizens blurted out inappropriate words. Rennae Stubs, another Australian tennis champ, requested Cash to immediately delete the tweet.
“Pat you should delete this tweet. I know too many people that didn’t ask for this virus and some even unfortunately died. It’s a little different when people are volunteering to put smoke in their own lungs. That decision is theirs and they obviously pay the price for it,” said Stubs, who has retired from tennis and resides in New York.
Rennae Stubs reply came with a huge thumbs up on Twitter. It’s really unfortunate when legends like Pat Cash tarnish their legacy by getting involved in unnecessary controversies. Hopefully, Cash will think twice from next time before writing something fishy on social media.
