Pat McAfee has not been a commentator in WWE for a few months now. However, it is clear he is still a huge fan of sports entertainment. He keeps up with the weekly programming and is not afraid to call out superstars for their actions. The 37-year-old recently had a very interesting conversation with The Miz about The New Day.
On the latest episode of The Pat McAfee Show, the host video-called the A-Lister. Furthermore, McAfee blamed Miz for not picking up his calls. The 2x Grand Slam Champion responded by saying that he was busy with Monday Night Raw. McAfee then asked him why he hadn’t confronted Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston about turning on Big E.
The former Money in the Bank winner revealed that he was happy with the actions of Woods and Kingston. Miz added that everyone should celebrate the fact that they are finally coming to terms with who they are. In order to succeed in WWE, they had to get rid of the excess baggage, which was Big E. The studio members were taken aback by this statement and started cussing out the former WWE Champion.

McAfee started berating him for being a terrible human being. The Miz was actually quite shocked by this statement. Miz said that it was the football commentator who was a terrible person for kicking him in the head at WrestleMania last year. After cursing him out some more, McAfee hung up on him.
Pat McAfee comments on returning to WWE Raw as a full-time commentator
Although Pat McAfee is not the most knowledgeable professional wrestling commentator out there, he is surely one of the most passionate. His passion for the sport has made fans love him on the commentary desk. He was a commentator on Raw for the better part of the year, but he had to leave the show in August of this year.
The company recently announced that he would be back on the red brand’s commentary desk when the show moves to Netflix. After the announcement, McAfee penned down his thoughts on X, saying that it was an honor for him to be asked to come back on the mic.
An absolute honor to be asked back.. A. Childhood dream realized every single time I’m lucky enough to be in an arena with the @WWE Universe.

Pat McAfee also confirmed that he would be sharing the desk alongside Michael Cole once again. This confused fans about what it meant for the current commentary lineup. Would the commentating veteran be shifted to the red brand again? Furthermore, some were upset that as soon as fans started getting used to a panel, it was changed in just a few months.
