Deshaun Watson, quarterback of the Cleveland Browns, who was suspended for six games will now have to face an 11-game suspension. Retired judge Sue L. Robinson found Watson guilty of violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy and announced that he would be suspended for 6 games with no fine.
However, the NFL appealed judge Robinson’s verdict which was well within their rights, and asked for a longer suspension. Due to the league’s objection, Watson is now facing an increased suspension. He will be out until Week 13 and fined a hefty sum of $5 million.
