The most dominant entity in the Bellator, their two-division champion Patricio Pitbull takes his shot at UFC fighters from time to time, and he holds a special grudge with UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski.

Pitbull is 31-4 on his professional record and is unbeaten in his last six fights, he has defeated the likes of Michael Chandler, who is now in UFC and is going to face Charles Oliveira next for the lightweight title.

Pitbull has shown interest in having a match with Volkanovski, and he even bet UFC president Dana White 1 million dollars that he would beat Volkanovski and then Khabib.

Now once again he called out Alex, he said, “It would be a massacre. Volkanovski is good at things, but he is not great at anything. He doesn’t have good footwork or striking, he doesn’t finish anyone, and he stalls a lot,” Pitbull continued.

“That won’t work with me, I will catch him and I will hurt him and finish him. The only reason why he accepted my challenge on Twitter is because he knows Dana wouldn’t do it. If we fought, I would finish him, I would embarrass him.”

Pitbull is booked to face Emmanuel Sanchez this Friday, 02 April 2021, at Bellator 255, he will defend his featherweight title in this bout.

Alexander Volkanovski was supposed to face Brian Ortega at UFC 260, but he was tested positive for Coronavirus and had to pull out from the fight, this fight has been pushed on a date yet to be determined.
