It is next to impossible to miss Patrick Mahomes if one is an NFL fan, considering he is one of the top quarterbacks in the sport. However, before matches, his wife, Brittany Mahomes, gets way more stressed for than him.
The pair recently appeared on the WHOOP podcast and spilled some secrets. During the rapid fire round, one of the questions asked was about the couples’ feelings before a big Kansas City Chiefs game. Patrick and Brittany admitted that the latter was the one who got more nervous before such matches.
Brittany revealed that Patrick, on the other hand, didn’t get nervous at all. She further disclosed that he loved going into games with game plans and challenges.
Later, Brittany recalled the first game of Patrick that she attended in 2020. It was the year’s Super Bowl that was most memorable for her as Patrick proposed to Brittany after his first Super Bowl victory. She recalled having fun after that by staying out till 5 a.m. for the after-party.
Brittany and Patrick have been together since high school. As revealed in the aforementioned quiz, it was Patrick who made the first move. The couple stayed together in college and even after the latter was drafted in NFL in 2017. Currently, with their two kids, Mahomes are a family of four, and will soon welcome their third child.
Patrick Mahomes says Brittany Mahomes makes it easy for him
In an episode of the Impaulsive podcast, Patrick Mahomes talked about the various situations at home while he is out ‘breaking a leg” in the field. He mentioned how people do not realize the amount of work Brittany Mahomes took on for him. She had once joked about losing Patrick to football during the season.
Brittany was a soccer player before she had to stop playing due to an injury. She understood the attention football required and, as Patrick revealed, Brittany took care of the day-to-day stuff so that he could focus fully on his game and not worry.
Patrick Mahomes called her a ‘Hall of Fame mom’ and ‘Hall of Fame wife’. Mahomes was all praise for her as he admitted to wanting to be beside her all the time. Brittany has always been all there for her husband cheering for him in the stands. She was even present at the NFL’s season opener match between the Chiefs and the Baltimore Ravens.
