The Kansas City Chiefs once again demonstrated their ability to deliver results when it mattered the most, achieving the historic victory over the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship Game. And the proud father, Patrick Mahomes Sr., couldn’t resist trolling the Bills following his son’s triumph. But it turns out, that’s not the whole story.
The former baseball pitcher went viral over a controversial trolling tweet he posted to poke fun at the Bills mafia, who not too long ago disrespected Patrick Mahomes with a Kermit doll. However, Pat Mahomes Sr. found himself surrounded by criticism, for tweeting, “Today is a great day to not be from Buffalo,” on X.
Although it wasn’t surprising from Senior Mahomes, who previously infamously trolled the Cincinnati Bengals after the Chiefs’ AFC championship game victory in 2023; he clarified that the recent jab directed at Buffalo did not originate from him. It turns out some anonymous hacker hacked the Chiefs quarterback’s dad’s X account.

In addition to that, Senior Mahomes also apologized to the Bills mafia, stating that he and his family have immense respect for Josh Allen-led Bills. His son, Patrick also apologized to his friend Allen for defeating him in the AFC Championship. Despite the long-time rivalry between the Chiefs and Bills, both teams have great respect for each other and the former baseball player clarified that he never intended to be disrespectful.

Besides Elder Mahomes, who came to support his son for the crucial conference championship game, his ex-wife, Randi Mahomes also attended the game alongside his son, Jackson Mahomes. The Mahomes family also posed together on the field following the victory, joined by Patrick’s wife and mother of three, Brittany Mahomes.
“All glory to God for this incredible opportunity to witness history in the making. So grateful to watch you pour your heart into what you love, son!” wrote Randi as a caption on the family photo.
Although the three-time Super Bowl champion’s parents didn’t troll the opposing fanbase for the Chiefs’ fifth Super Bowl qualification in the last six years, his wife didn’t leave the Bills mafia so easily. She called them out on her Instagram for disrespecting her husband using the Kermit doll which they hung from a poll two months ago.
