Patrick Mahomes wasn’t going to miss the return of Monday Night Raw in Kansas City. The massive WWE TV event took place at the T-Mobile Center.
During the closing stages of the night, Logan Paul was trash-talking in the middle of the ring as Jey Uso walked in. One of Paul’s crew members, Finn Balor, then attacked Uso, leading to a mini-brawl.
Mahomes was watching the action from the sidelines alongside IShowSpeed. Shortly after, the crowd was left stunned as injured Braun Strowman walked down the ramp and unleashed himself on Balor.
Strowman, who was recently drafted to Raw, has been out of commission since May 2023 after suffering a devastating neck injury. He had to go through surgery and rehab to finally recover in time to stop Paul and Balor from mauling Uso.
After delivering a massive ride to Balor, Strowman tried to chase Paul, who ran with his tail between his legs. As he was parading around the ring, the 40-year-old noticed Mahomes wearing his iconic red t-shirt.
Strowman walked up to the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and started taunting him, until two big muscular guys sitting next to Mahomes stood up, hinting that the 28-year-old was under their protection. Uso then tugged him away, ending any chances of further escalation.
KC Royals GM wants Patrick Mahomes to participate in the team’s spring training sessions
Everyone knows what a bawler Patrick Mahomes is on the gridiron. However, those who have closely followed the three-time Super Bowl winner’s journey from college will vouch that he was equally good with baseball.

During his high school days, Mahomes was a pitcher for the Whitehouse’s baseball team. He was following in the footsteps of his father, Pat Mahomes Sr., who played Major League Baseball (1992–2003).
Mahomes even takes part in voluntary games where his talent as a baseball player resurfaces. Recently, while attending the Time 100 event, he addressed the rumors that KC Royals general manager JJ Picollo may have asked him to be part of their spring training. The six-time Pro Bowler claimed he wasn’t opposed to the idea.
I’ll get it approved by the Chiefs and everything like that. If I can still hit the ball, pitch, or whatever that is. Maybe not in the games, but I can at least practice with them.Patrick Mahomes said
Picollo later told the Kansas City Star that he would love to have Mahomes.
We’d love to have him come. He’s welcome anytime. He’s part owner of the team; he can do whatever he wants.JJ Picollo said
Well, the only problem is that baseball season starts around March and teams begin spring training in mid-January. It clashes with the Super Bowl. If Mahomes went back to the NFL’s biggest game next year, then it would be hard to persuade the Chiefs front office to let him join the Royals training sessions.
