Even if Patrick Mahomes tries to stay neutral in the current Election season, his mother Randi Mahomes made her stance clear that she is voting for Donald Trump. Randi is the second Mahomes to publicly announce her support for the MAGA after Brittany Mahomes.
Social media hawkeyes caught a whiff of Mama Mahomes announcing her favorite candidate moments before the Chiefs kicked off their week 9 fixture against the Buccaneers at Arrowhead Stadium. Randi, a regular at KC games even though she lives in Texas, uploaded a video on Instagram, which was then shared on X by Outkick.
In the short clip, the 54-year-old wore a red sweater with the words Chiefs written on the front and beige pants. However, her hat with the phrase ‘Make America Great Again’ caught everyone’s eye. It’s the motto of the Republican Party, led by Donald Trump. She also uttered the phrase with great enthusiasm.

Now and then every American citizen has thought or discussed Patrick Mahomes’ political allegiance. The three-time Super Bowl winner is one of the most recognizable faces in sports, holding a massive influence on his fans. So, his words carry a lot of weight.
Mahomes is well aware of it, which is why he has remained neutral throughout the years. The 29-year-old, whenever questioned about his allegiance, has replied that he will not use his platform to endorse one particular individual or party. He believes in people voting for the candidate whom they see fit for the job.
I don’t want my place and my platform to be used to endorse a candidate or do whatever, either way. I think my place is to inform people to get registered to vote. It is to inform people to do their own research and then make their best decision for them and their family.

His mom is a different matter altogether. She has the right to show support to whomever she chooses to. Her daughter-in-law, wife of Patrick, Brittany Mahomes, was the first to endorse Trump through an Instagram post.
It received massive backlash on social media, especially because many believed that she would support Kamala Harris because of her association with Taylor Swift. Brittany fired back at the hate comments, but according to reports, she began to second-guess her opinion after Trump’s verbal attack on minorities and comedian ridiculing Travis Kelce, Swift’s boyfriend.
It remains to be seen whether Patrick Mahomes follows his mother or not. As the voting process is on the doorstep, he needs to quickly make up his mind.
