Although her son Patrick Mahomes didn’t completely agree with Harrison Butker’s views, Randi Mahomes did. Right after the Kansas City Chiefs placekicker announced that he had no regret and would not change his statements based on social media outcry, mama Mahomes has given her honest thoughts.

Butker stirred up online outrage following his speech at a Catholic institution on gender roles and the place of the LGBTQ+ community in society. The Super Bowl-winning field goal specialist became public enemy No. 1 within one night.

Despite the outrage and calls for his expulsion from the NFL, Harrison Butker remains unfazed. In a separate speech, the 28-year-old refused to move away from his views which a section of people thought ‘dehumanizing and hateful.’

Randi Mahomes on the other hand, agreed with Butker and praised him for his unwavering spirit in front of adversity. She shared Butker’s speech with the caption, “Amen!”

Last Friday, the devout catholic was a guest speaker at the Courage Under Fire Gala at the Regina Caeli Academy. He finally opened up on the apparent hate he has been receiving since the commencement speech at the Benedictine College.

Butker highlighted that his speech was directed at GOD and the real Catholic values are under siege.

If it wasn’t clear that the timeless Catholic values are hated by many, it is now. Over the past few days, my beliefs, or what people. The more I’ve talked about what I value most, my Catholic faith, the more polarizing I’ve become. It’s a decision I’ve consciously made, and one I do not regret at all.

While Randi prefers to keep her private life away from the public eye, it’s no secret that she and her husband are not close. A commenter pointed that out, “You literally married to a Pro Athlete. You walked into money… Stay quiet.”

And was left with none.
Randi Mahomes was quick to reply

Randi Mahomes married former Major League Baseball player Pat Mahomes in the late ‘90s. However, she wasn’t aware that Pat played was a pro athlete. In a later interview, she pointed out that being with a professional baseball player was hard for her.
