Patrick Mahomes, who had already surpassed Tom Brady’s elite record, rose to even more glory after leading the Kansas City Chiefs to a second consecutive Super Bowl victory. From becoming TIME’s Most Influential Person of the Year to making an appearance at WWE, the quarterback has become a new face to the NFL’s most essential position.
However, it appears that the three-time Super Bowl champion has some regrets about his guest appearance at WWE. For context, Mahomes was invited to WWE Monday Night Raw held in Kansas City, on April 29. He partnered with the WWE star Logan Paul in his wrestling match, but interestingly he gave one of his Super Bowl rings to the wrestler to use in his bout.
While talking about that night at his recent appearance on the Pat McAfee show, the Chiefs elite quarterback revealed the one regret he had about his surprise appearance in WWE, but it wasn’t about giving his honoring ring to Paul.
The WWE thing was awesome. That thing was sweet. I wish I actually got in the ring man. I got to show off my skills a little bit.said Patrick Mahomes

Patrick Mahomes portrayed as a villain in Kansas City
When the reigning Super Bowl MVP entered the event, he received a grand ovulation from the audience in Kansas City as they expressed their support for the elite quarterback. However, given his segment was sponsored and not booked by WWE, Mahomes appeared as a villain.
The PRIME’s sponsors wanted Paul and Mahomes to try something new together, the Chiefs superstar was portrayed as a villain in his home city, who truly loves him.
That’s why many wrestling fans also questioned this decision, but it was a success as it brought the necessary mainstream attention to the brand. This WWE collaboration with Paul’s beverage brand is expected to expand to a larger audience.
