Patrick Mahomes pulled up at Silverstone to see ‘legend’ Lewis Hamilton win the British Grand Prix

It appears Patrick Mahomes’ Europe exploration isn’t finished just yet and among all places, his favorite seems London, England. While having some spare time ahead of the training camp, the elite quarterback finally made his long-awaited Europe trip in action with his family, and his most recent drop-off was the British Grand Prix.
Besides his grand gridiron endeavors, Mahomes is known for his investment in multiple sports– one of which is the French F1 team, Alpine. With his team contesting in the British Grand Prix, the star quarterback landed in England again to support his team at Silverstone on Sunday.
Alpine announced the arrival of the Kansas City Chiefs superstar on their official social media handles, by sharing a video recorded by the three-time Super Bowl champion himself, greeting the fans from the stadium.

Mahomes also shared a few snaps of the Silverstone track and the superstars on his Instagram story, expressing his excitement for the race he never saw before. Though unfortunately, his team couldn’t secure the trophy as the legend Lewis Hamilton scored the triumph for the ninth time.
Interestingly, this wasn’t the first sports event in Britain that the reigning Super Bowl MVP attended. Earlier, he and his wife, Brittany attended the Wimbledon at Centre Court.
Patrick Mahomes inks 10-year Adidas deal for Texas Tech
The London trip appears to be quite fulfilling for Mahomes, as along with spending quality time with his family, he signed for a major collaboration of Texas Tech with Adidas for ten years. The elite quarterback has been associated with Adidas since his college days and that’s why, he was featured in the announcement campaign.
The quarterback made the announcement on his official Instagram handle with a creative video of a giant pair of new Adidas shoes in the iconic shade of the Chiefs, hanging by the shoelace.
With this deal, Adidas has become the official brand of footwear, apparel, and accessories for Texas Tech University. Along with the brand’s official logo, Mahomes’ MVP logo will also feature in the merchandise.
