Patrick Mahomes remains unsatisfied after clinching AFC West for the 9th consecutive time

The Chiefs, despite their remarkable record, have looked a shell of their previous year’s performances. The invisible force ran into vulnerabilities, exposing their drawbacks.
In the end, it all comes down to the results the team produces. The Chiefs can do so, however, it can’t be written off that they haven’t been able to stack up points. The win against the Chargers was their consecutive 15th one-score victory.
Patrick Mahomes admits AFC West is a tough division
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback believes both the Los Angeles Chargers and Denver Broncos will make the playoffs. He also emphasized the difficulty of qualifying from the AFC West, calling all its teams formidable rivals.
Earlier, on Sunday, the Chiefs registered a season sweep over the Chargers. They also had a season sweep over the Las Vegas Raiders. Additionally, they had one win over the Denver Broncos, and one game slated to play in Week 18.
The Chargers dropped a position but remain locked in for the wildcard spot from the league. The Chargers and the Broncos led by ROTY contender Bo Nix, both hold an 8-5 record after Week 14 – holding sixth and seventh positions in the AFC. The nearest rivals are Miami Dolphins and Indianapolis Colts, against whom the AFC teams have a three-win advantage.
