Before rejoining his Kansas City Chiefs teammates for the summer training session, Patrick Mahomes caught up with his ‘PRIME’ partners Logan Paul and IShowSpeed on Tuesday. After recording an episode for Paul’s ‘Impaulsive‘ podcast, the trio then headed out to the nearby field to shoot Mahomes throwing a few passes.
A video clip from that session surfaced on social media. YouTube sensation Darren Jason Watkins, better known as IShowSpeed, can be seen without a shirt, agreeing to be the receiver for the day.
Speed then took a football and demonstrated the route he would run. Afterward, he briefed the three-time Super Bowl winner that he would give a signal—his iconic ‘bark’—and Mahomes would throw the ball.
I don't think we got any D-line or anything. Alright, we got it. I got you alright, I got you.Patrick Mahomes said
As planned, Speed stepped up and shouted the signal, sprinting ahead. Mahomes then threw a deep ball close to the touchline. For a split second, it appeared that Speed would fail to catch the ball. However, he made a clean catch and screamed in jubilance.
Another WWE Super Star called out Mahomes after his recent appearance on Raw
Mahomes received his first taste of Monday Night Raw this week. He was accompanied by Chief teammates Creed Humphrey and Trey Smith. Paul invited him, and Speed was sitting next to the three-time Super Bowl MVP near the ring.

In the aftermath of Paul’s skirmish with Jey Uso, Braun Strowman came out to lend a helping hand. Strowman scared away Paul and his crew, then turned his attention toward Mahomes. However, he backed away after Humphrey and Smith guarded their quarterback.
While this was happening, another WWE star, James Ellsworth, had the cheeky idea of making fun of the six-time Pro Bowler. Ellsworth opened X (formerly Twitter) and shared two photos. One of them was a Strowman taunting Mahomes, and another was Ellsworth punching the 6-foot-8 behemoth. He captioned the post,
#PatrickMahomes didn’t have the “Footballs” to hit #BraunStrowman on #WWERAW like I did.James Ellsworth wrote caption
Even though Ellsworth is half of Strowman’s physique, the 39-year-old did have a good run against his adversary. However, even he must be aware that this was a mere set-up. There’s no way the WWE would book Mahomes and let him get beaten up. Yet Mahomes’ action before Strowman’s appearance did raise a few eyebrows.
